Australia Day

Sunday, 26th January 2025, is Australia Day, and Meals on Wheels will not deliver on Monday, 27th January.

If you need an extra meal for this day, a frozen meal can be delivered on Thursday, 23rd January, Friday, 24th January, or a different day that suits you.

Please call 6722 1951 by Wednesday, 15th January if you require a frozen meal for the holiday.

Frozen meal instructions:

• Keep meals in the freezer.
• Move to the fridge 24 hours before heating.
• Do not thaw meals on the bench, especially in hot weather.
• Once thawed, meals should be heated and eaten within 24 hours or discarded.
• Foil containers are microwave safe; loosen the lid to release steam.
• Wash and recycle all containers.
